Mr. Adnan Asdar is a co-founder of Multinet Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. He is currently involved with Karachi Relief Trust as a Trustee. Mr. Asdar also serves on the board of The Hunar Foundation and Progressive Education Network and is a General Body Member of The Indus Hospital.

A Founding Member of TCF’s Board of Directors, Mr. Ahsan M. Saleem has also served as Chairman of TCF from 1998 till 2006. He is Chief Executive Officer of Crescent Steel & Allied Products Limited. He is also presently serving on the board of several listed companies.

A Founding Member of TCF’s Board of Directors, Mr. Ateed Riaz served as Chief Executive Officer of TCF (in honorary capacity) from July 2002 till March 2005. Mr. Ateed Riaz has been looking after the operations of the Imrooz Association of Companies which include, First Imrooz Modaraba, Tarseel Private Limited and Atherton Imrooz Company.

A TCF Director since 2004, Mr. Ishaque Noor is the Group Managing Director of Albatha Group, United Arab Emirates. He has also served for several years as Member of the Executive Committee of the Professionals Wing of Pakistan Association, Dubai.

Lt. Gen. Sabeeh has been a Director of TCF since 1996. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer of TCF from 1995 till 2001. As CEO, he received a UN Award for “his and his organization’s outstanding work in support of primary education for boys and girls in under-privileged areas”. He was also awarded Hilal-e-Imtiaz and Sitara-e-Bisalat for distinguished service in the Pakistan Army. He is Chairman & CEO of Quality Schools Foundation.

Inducted as a Director of TCF in April 2013, Mr. Musadaq Zulqarnain is the CEO of Interloop Limited including its subsidiaries in USA, Bangladesh and the Netherlands. Mr. Zulqarnain was the CEO of FIEDMC, formed to develop Industrial parks and infrastructure. He also presides over Interloop Welfare Trust which is engaged in numerous philanthropic activities in the country.

A Founding Member of TCF’s Board of Directors, Mr. Mushtaq K. Chhapra currently serves as the Chairman of the Board. Mr. Chhapra has played a key role in nurturing a number of prominent nonprofit organizations and serves on the boards of Patients’ Aid Foundation and The Kidney Centre.

An entrepreneur and a successful businesswoman, Ms. Nilofer Saeed is a member of the Supporters of The Citizens Foundation (STCF) and was inducted as a Director of TCF in December 2009. She has been presented with the Woman Entrepreneurship Momentum Award for 2010 and is also keenly involved in numerous charities. She is also an active board member of a number of business concerns.

A Founding Member and first Chairman of the Board of Directors of TCF, Mr. Rashid Abdulla is a leading businessman and a philanthropist at heart. He serves as Director on the boards of several companies associated with the IBL Group including The Searle Company Limited, International Brands Limited and IBL HealthCare Limited.

Mr. Shahid Abdullah is the principal architect and CEO of Arshad Shahid Abdulla (Pvt) Ltd. He has been involved with a number of social projects in Pakistan and is amongst the founders of Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, The Hunar Foundation and The Kidney Center.

Syed Asaad Ayub Ahmad is the President and Chief Executive Officer of TCF. He has been part of the TCF family since January 2009.

Zia Akhter Abbas joined the TCF Family as Vice President Inputs in October 2014.
He came to TCF with an extensive experience of 17 years in Banking. His last assignment was with Standard Chartered Bank as Head of Retail Products & Segments. Prior to that, he has also worked at Royal Bank of Scotland, NIB Bank as well as Citibank, Pakistan and UAE.

He holds an International Baccalaureate from Lester B. Pearson United World College, Canada and a Master’s Degree from LUMS. His areas of specialization are Consumer Banking and Credit Management.

Isfandyar Inayat

Isfandyar Inayat is the General Manager Outcomes at TCF. He has been part of the TCF family since 2013.

He comes with 18 years of work experience in Business Development, Relationship Management and Project Management. He previously worked for Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) and ABN AMRO Bank Dubai in UAE. He remained a dedicated volunteer for TCF’s flagship mentoring programme Rahbar and firmly believes that education is the key to ensuring a brighter future for our country and its children.

Isfandyar completed his Masters in Banking from Germany in 2009.

Khwaja Bakhtiar Ahmed

Khwaja Bakhtiar Ahmed is the Chief Financial Officer at TCF. He has been part of the TCF family since 2010.

Before joining TCF, he spent over 30 years working in the corporate sector. He has worked with renowned audit firms and financial institutions in Pakistan including Wyeth Pakistan Limited for a period of 25 years and National Construction Company Pakistan, for over 7 years.

He remains a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Pakistan. He has completed his studies from A.F. Fergusons & Company, Chartered Accountants in Karachi.

Tauseef Ul Islam

Tauseef Ul Islam

Vice President Operations
Tauseef is the Vice President Operations for the organization and comes with a wealth of working experience of 27 years. Before joining TCF he worked with Shell Pakistan in various different roles from Regional Depot Manager to Planning and Services Manager to Distribution Strategy Advisor. His most recent assignment was as Cluster Operations Manager-Middle East, Central Asian States & Pakistan.
Tauseef holds a Master’s degree in Physics from University of Karachi.
Seema Chapra

Seema Chapra is the General Manager for the Human Resources Department at TCF. She has been part of the TCF family for the past 13 years now.

She brings with her an intensive 10 year work experience in the banking sector. She previously worked for the SunTrust Bank in USA. Following this, she has dedicated her time and efforts working tirelessly towards promoting TCF’s cause and ensuring its progress in transforming the lives of underprivileged children across Pakistan.

Seema has completed her education from Florida International University in Miami, USA.

Amna Khalid

Head of Grants & CDU

Amna Khalid is serving as both Head of Grants and the Community Development Unit (CDU) at TCF. She has been part of the TCF family since June 2009 .

She has remained one of TCF’s most ardent and devoted executive volunteers. She was associated initially with the Aagahi Adult literacy program before moving on to the Grants and CDU departments. She previously worked in the financial sector and has also been involved with off-shore financial consultancy.

Her dream for TCF is to see TCF schools eventually being run by TCF alumni.

Ambreen Zaheer

Head of QA
Ambreen Zaheer is the Head for Quality Assurance at TCF. She has been part of the TCF family since 2004.

She has been involved with TCF for 12 years now, actively promoting its cause and ensuring its progress. She brings with her a special set of skills from her previous work experiences as a teacher. She has taught at both the junior and senior levels at Gulistan S.A.L Secondary School.

Ambreen completed her M-Phill in Social Sciences at Hamdard University and pursued her Masters in Islamic History at the University of Karachi.

Rahila Fatima

Head of SDU

Rahila Fatima is the Head of Department – Strategic Development Unit at TCF. She has been part of the TCF family since 2005.

She has played an integral part in the growth and progress of TCF. Her previous work experience in TCF began as Manager Training & Evaluation on to Senior Manager Academics in Education and now to the Strategic Development Unit department as Senior Manager.

Rahila has done her Masters in English Literature and Linguistics from Karachi University. She has also completed a one year diploma from LUMS in Social Enterprise Management.

Shazia Kamal

GM - Education

Shazia Kamal is the General Manager of Education at TCF. She has been part of the TCF family since May 2011; first as the Head of Volunteers & Alumni and then as Senior Associate – Academic Research & Planning.

She comes with a rich work experience of 11 years in diverse fields. She has previously worked with Tetra Pak Pakistan, International Institute of Management Development – Switzerland, Kashf Foundation as Regional Manager and lastly with AKD Investment Limited as an Investment Analyst.

She holds an MBA Degree in Finance from LUMS.

Head of Internal Audit

Malik Muhammad Khalid is Head of Internal Audit at TCF. He has been part of the TCF family since 2014.

He comes with a vast work experience of 38 years. He has previously worked for A.F. Ferguson & Co, Chartered Accountants, M/s KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co, Chartered Accountants, M/s Royal Saudi Naval Forces and Management Services Saudi Arabia and Management System Limited Karachi.

He is a CA Finalist, FCIS (Fellow Member of the Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan) and FISFC (Fellow Member of Institute of Financial Consultant Canada).

M.I. Ali

M.I. Ali

Head of Engineering

M.I. Ali is the Head of Engineering at TCF. He has been part of the TCF family for the past 7 years, since 2009.

He comes with extensive work experience in the fields of Architectural Design and Civil Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer for Pakistan Engineering Council, Islamabad and previously remained an administrator for Formation Public School as well as Engineering Manager, MKRD for Shell Pakistan Ltd.

Mr Ali received a Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Northeast Missouri State, with a Majors in Civil Engineering.

Arif is the CEO for TCF-USA and has been a Director for the US Chapter since 2013. With over 30+ years of leadership positions in the Petroleum Sector, Arif was motivated by a desire to give back to Pakistan and to its marginalized communities when he initially became associated with TCF. He foresees a future where TCF continues to make progress in its mission to provide quality education for better opportunity to the children of Pakistan.

Azam Ali

Azam Ali

TCF - Switzerland
Azam Ali is an alumni of IBA Karachi University. After completing his MBA he joined PIA and worked in management and marketing positions while posted at various locations – Karachi, Frankfurt, Dubai and Damascus. Follwing a career change, he qualified as an Internal Auditor and then as an IT auditor and worked in the Internal Audit department of DMI, based in Geneva. He speaks several languages and is interested in linguistics. He now enjoys teaching children and adults Urdu language at the International School of Geneva and another community school.

Aziz Rakla

Aziz Rakla is currently serving as President of TCF – Canada and has been associated with TCF since 2005. He also manages his own business, Rakla Tires Inc. and Rakla Properties Inc. He joined the TCF family because of his love for Pakistan and his desire to give back to the country that has given him his education and success. He feels that this is the time to contribute to society and he wants to see an educated, modern Pakistan. Aziz also dreams of TCF expanding and taking the front seat in setting the education budget and education policies of the country.

Italian friends of TCF
Gretchen is the President of the ‘Italian Friends of TCF’ Chapter. Presently, an independent consultant in Italy, she has had a long and prosperous career in the financial sector. She learned about TCF from a Pakistani based supporter and was impressed with TCF’s focus on getting girls into school.
She dreams for TCF to continue educating generations of thoughtful and intelligent Pakistani children, who as young people and adults will contribute to the improvement of every citizen’s quality of life and peace in the country.

Imtiaz Dossa has been with TCF since the organization’s very first years. He has been previously associated with the oil services industry. His motivation to join TCF lies in the organization’s focus on gender equality and its large-scale experiment that proved it possible to provide affordable education that meets exemplary standards. He hopes that the TCF ethos can move towards the government and inspire it to change their school system using TCF’s lessons and learnings.

Nada Ahmed grew up in Pakistan where she received her primary education. Since leaving Pakistan she has lived and studied in many countries including- US, France and Norway. She is an engineer by profession and has been working in the Oil and Gas Industry for over 5 years and currently stationed in Oslo, Norway. Besides work Nada loves to travel, learn new languages and work on volunteer projects helping the community around her.

Sanam Thariani is associated with TCF since 2013. With over 18 year experience in the industry, Sanam is the Administrator / Co-owner of Kids & Co Playschool and Preschool in Karachi and has a solid commitment to the social and academic growth and development of children in Pakistan. Sanam believes that the key to bringing about a positive change in Pakistan is to improve literacy rates and impart quality education, without compromise and with complete accessibility to all.
